This line by Visconti has been inspired by the most famous Italian Renaissance artist of all time, Michelangelo. He was not only a painter, but also a sculptor, poet and architect during the 16th century. His art has never failed to inspire other artists for centuries.
The 18-sided design refers back to 18 February 1564, the day Michelangelo passed away. Its black body is made of laqcuer and is finished with rothenium-plated trims that contain a special engraving. This is a scripture of the artist's name and a Renaissance frieze pattern.
The closing system is designed effeciently, containing a magnetic closure.
