Sailor Shikiori 'Yodaki' Red Fountain Pen

Shikiori reflects the four seasons of Japan. The changing seasons are hugely important to Japanese culture. The Sailor Shikiori collection explores each period of the year and translates it into material objects.

This writing instrument is part of the Tsukuyono Minamo (Moonlit Water) series, in which each season is seen through the reflections of a water surface. Following the the theme of this series, the white detail at the end of the cap represents the moon.

The pen is finished in red noble resin with a hint of shimmer, giving it a modern look with its timeless shape at the same time. Additionally, "Yodaki" is a deep red color and reflects a camp fire on a summer evening.

The pen is equipped with a steel, fine nib and uses ink cartridges or a converter.
