Sailor Commemorative Fountain Pen for Rebuilding Hiroshima Factory

Sailor's factory in Kure, Hiroshima, where the Sailor Pen Company was founded, will be reconstructed and completed in autumn 2022. Some of the previous factory buildings were more than 70 years old. The trees on the side of the factory were also more than 60 years old.

With the reconstruction of the factory, a new usage for the trees are found. Specifically, the wood is processed into the barrel in order to reuse the material and create extraordinary fountain pens.

The Commemorative Fountain Pen for Rebuilding Hiroshima Factory is a Limited Edition, with only 40 pieces available in Europe.

The pen has a Medium 21 carat solid gold nib and is laser engraved with special characteristics of this fountian pen. Furthermore, the pen can be used with a converter or ink cartridges.
