Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Arthur Conan Doyle 1902 LE Fountain Pen

This Writers Edition is an ode to Arthur Conan Doyle. He was the British writer that crafted the most famous character in the world of crime fiction, Sherlock Holmes.

Due to the grand success, Montblanc has combined all experts to design the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle collection. This line represents London and its dark foggy streets in which Holmes always resolves its cases.

Moreover, the pen's brown body is decorated with a plaid pattern that refers to Holmes' coat, but it also contains a historic map of the city of London. The color of the body refers to his brown smoking pipe.

Joseph Bell's initials are engraved under the PVD coated clip, who was the true inspiration for the creation of the famous literary character. The clip reflects his magnifying glass. As for the nib, it is made of Au750 solid gold and contains a special engraving of Sherlock Holmes with flying dinosaurs from "The Lost World".
